About me?
Hello! I'm Jessie, also known as the "Male Nurse Mentor" on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. I'm here to support you just as I wished I had support at the beginning of my nursing journey. I believe that the pre-nursing phase is crucial and often the most challenging part of becoming a nurse. That's why I created California Pre-Nursing as an alternative to traditional school advising, providing a reliable resource for all your pre-nursing questions.
I began my pre-nursing journey at a community college before transferring to the CSU system to earn my BSN. With over 6 years of nursing experience, including more than 5 years "on the floor" I've advanced my career to earn my MSN and currently work as a nurse consultant for a state government agency. I continue to work full-time while running this service as a passion for future nurses, motivated by my own experiences at the start of my journey.

As a pre-nursing student, I will work with you to clearly see your path to a nursing program admission, with a strategy proven to work. My strategy allowed me to obtain my BSN degree at a CSU, as a transfer student, beginning at a local community college.
